The study of human factors is about understanding human behavior and performance. When applied to aviation operations, human factors knowledge is used to optimize the fit between people and the systems in which they work in order to improve safety and performance. Gain a comprehensive overview of the effect and management of human factors in aviation with this foundation course.After completion, you may choose to do more specialized courses on Fatigue Risk Management Systems (FRMS), Threat and Error Management (TEM), Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Team Resource Management (TRM).Course format: This course is available at IATA Training Centers, regional training partner locations, and on-demand as in-company training. This course provides 40 hours of instruction delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
