For Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to the most countries in the world, training is a basic operating function. Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy, established in 1982, continues its training service activities in the subjects of human and talent management as well as operational issues of civil aviation with more than 70 instructors who are experts in their fields.

In-house and out-sourced aviation courses such as Cargo, Operations, Security, Passenger Services, Ramp and system courses, as  well as  English for specific purposes(ESP) and personal and professional development courses  with universal content carefully designed as a result of detailed needs analysis are offered to the participants . The training programs on aviation practices developed intensively by our Company personnel add value to the entire industry.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic period, which affected the whole world, our Academy swiftly initiated distance learning practices. In the first year of the pandemic, the Academy delivered more than 3 thousand virtual classroom courses and reached more than 60,000 online participants.

In addition to in-class and distance learning, Aviation Academy provides the company personnel working all around the globe with over 300 digital content in different fields.

Our academy provides training and consultancy services to public and private institutions in different fields, and offers Training Needs Analysis and Training Design as needed.

While preparing and presenting Certificate Programs for white-collar personnel, it also organizes graduate programs for professionals working in Turkish Airlines and the aviation industry in cooperation with different Universities.

Our Academy is the largest business partner of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in its region and has been awarded the title of "IATA Premier Circle Member" for 4 consecutive years since 2016.

At the same time, through our social responsibility project "Aviation for Children" program, we carry out activities for school-aged children, including children from Turkish Child Protection Services, to help them get to know the aviation industry. For adults who are afraid of flying, our “Conquer your Fear of Flight Program” is delivered with simulators and real flight experiences under the supervision of our psychologists.
