Ghana, an important center of Africa, which is a rapidly developing region of the aviation industry, hosted the international aviation fair for the first time between the dates of 24-26 October. Turkish Airlines, which increased its investments in the African region, sponsored the African General Aviation and Defense Industries Fair organized under the name of "AFRICAN AIRSHOW" at Kotoka International Airport. Turkish Aviation Academy also took part in this great event.

The organization hosted many important companies from the aviation industry. Airline companies and airport authorities from Africa, Asia and Europe, as well as technical aviation companies, state authorities, civil aviation authorities, cargo companies, charter operation companies and air transport vehicle manufacturers participated in the organization.

At our booth which was set up under the support of sponsorship by Turkish Airlines, various activities of our academy were introduced to the visitors and in particular to the President of Ghana. In order to increase the recognition of our Aviation Academy, the visitors were informed about our IATA trainings, corporate solution trainings, dangerous goods and security trainings through introductory documents and brochures. As a result of these negotiations, our Academy exchanged information with the important companies of global aviation industry such as Africa World Airlines, Grand Central Airport South Africa, Royal Air Maroc, Air Mauritius, Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways, Rwand Air, Michelin, Amadeus, SAAB, SITA, Air Brussels, Diamond Aircraft, Air Charter Service, Servair Ghana, Skyplan and Skyworld Air Services.

Due to the fact that the aviation industry employs 6.7 million people in this continent and provides service to 67 million passengers a year, the participation of Turkish Aviation Academy to this fair has importance
