SIXTH MODULE OF AIR TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT MASTER PROGRAM HAS BEEN COMPLETED!3/29/2018



“Network, Fleet and Schedule Planning”, the sixth module of Air Transport Management Master Program which was initiated by Turkish Aviation Academy in collaboration with Ibn Haldun University and Airbus with the purpose of raising aviation leaders who will have a voice in our country’s future, was completed.

Expert instructor Dr. John Wensveen delivered the module in our Academy between 10-15 March 2018. With this module, master students found the opportunity to work on how network and fleet planning affects company income and profitability. The first area explored in the lesson aimed to teach prediction of key market and route; topics such as developing a program that utilizes aircraft resource effectively, developing aircraft and fleet use were explored. By completing the sixth module, the students also learned about how to apply successful planning strategies, passenger traffic demands, air schedule data and examined optimization tools.

This comprehensive program, carried out in collaboration with the world’s best training institutions such as Cranfield University and British Columbia University will last for 18 months, and is a golden opportunity for everyone who aims a career in aviation. New modules will continue to take place with new professors from distinguished universities around the world.
