OUR ACADEMY SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERS “IATA AIRPORT SLOTS AND COORDINATION” TRAINING9/13/2017

In line with the goal of contributing to the development of the civil aviation industry, the Turkish Aviation Academy continues to gain professionals to the aviation sector with another IATA training.

"Airport Slots and Coordination" Training was given by MICHAIL ANGELOPOULOS, an expert  instructor, in the classes of Turkish Aviation Academy, IATA's Regional and Authorized Training Center on 11-13 September 2017.

The aforesaid training has been completed successfully with the participation of employees from the companies such as IGA Airport Operations, Pegasus Airlines, and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport Investment Development and Operation Inc.

Due to the increased air traffic today, the gap between airport capacity demand and capacity allocation has increased substantially. The growing demand for airway slots is becoming a major issue for airports that do not have enough capacity to meet this growth. This training, designed to maximize the effective use of the airport infrastructure, enabled the relevant staff to specialize in this area.

IATA trainings, which provide great contributions to raising professional staff in the aviation sector, are waiting for you to be trained as new experts within the Aviation Academy.
