MASTER STUDY OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE WHO'S AIMING TO HAVE A CAREER IN AVIATION9/11/2014




The opening ceremony of the Air Transport Management Master's Program, organized by Turkish Aviation Academy in cooperation with Istanbul Technical University and Boeing, took place in İTÜ, Maçka Campus with the participation of General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil, İTÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, President of the Turkish Aviation Academy Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek, President of Boeing Turkey Bernie Dunny and Vice President of Commercial Airplanes Dr. Fariba Alamdari.

This master's program was designed to equip future administrators with the skills needed to manage Turkey's rapidly emerging aviation and space sector. Being the first of its kind within the region, the Air Transport Management Master's Program will be available for 40 employees of our Partnership in the first instance and will be hosted by the Turkish Aviation Academy. Being a unique program involving instructors from leading institutions in the aviation sector, such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cranfield University and British Columbia University, Air Transport Management Master's Program takes two years to complete.

During his keynote speech at the beginning of the program, General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil said "We are proud to contribute to the development of international integration by taking steps towards strengthening cultural, commercial and economic relations and thus building bridges between the continents. We have made great progress regarding the investment plan we have been following for the last decade. Today, as we keep building on our current success, I believe that this new program will not only increase the skill efficiency of our administrators so that we can achieve our long-term goals, but it will also contribute greatly to their professional competence."

Extending the scope and efficiency of its training catalog day by day thanks to approval certificates and accreditations, Turkish Aviation Academy is now managing the Air Transport Management Master's Program in cooperation with Istanbul Technical University and Boeing, for professionals eager to be leaders in the aviation sector.
