"IATA GLOBAL TRAINING PARTNERSHIP CONFERENCE 2018" HOSTED BY TURKISH AVIATION ACADEMY HAS SUCCESSFULLY ENDED4/24/2018



International Air Transport Association IATA's 'Global Training Partnership Conference' that was held in Istanbul under the main sponsorship of Turkish Airlines has ended after three days.

The conference, hosted by Turkish Aviation Academy with more than 200 participants from 50 different countries, started with the opening speech of İlker AYCI, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee. Chief Human Resources Officer, Abdulkerim Çay, Chief Flight Operations Officer, Levent YILMAZ and Press Consultant Mr. Yahya ÜSTÜN also honoured the opening ceremony.

On the first day of the conference, Senior Vice President, Training, Prof. Kemal YÜKSEK took part in the panels as a panelist. New perspectives and technologies regarding aviation were discussed at the panels. At the end of the first day of the conference, as host Turkish Aviation Academy held a Bosphorus tour by boat with the participants.

The second day of the conference continued with panels. The award ceremony was held at the gala night at the end of the second day. At this award ceremony, Turkish Aviation Academy, having hosted a large number of IATA trainings, qualified for the "IATA Premier Circle Member" third year in a row due to its sales performance. The achievement plaque of the Turkish Aviation Academy for its outstanding performance was presented by the Director of the IATA Training and Development Institute Guy BRAZEAU to Senior Vice President, Training, Prof. Kemal YÜKSEK. At the gala night, a folk team performed Turkish local dances to our guests.

On the last day of the conference, one-on-one meetings were conducted with airline officials. An Istanbul tour was organized for visitors afterwards. Turkish Aviation Academy will work to maintain the continuity of this well-deserved award.
