Continuing its cooperation with universities, Turkish Aviation Academy successfully carried out the first phase of an Aviation English program requested by Fatih Sultan Mehmet University.

Within the scope of the program, a group of instructors from FSM university participated in and completed our Cabin and Cockpit English courses at the Academy. The managers from the Academy and the University presented them their certitificates at an award ceremony held at TAA.

In the certificate ceremony, the Academy President Dr. Kemal Yüksek and FSM Project Management Center director Ali Kurt stated  that this project was a perfect example for university-sector collaborations, which are critical in closing the gap between the demand for qualified work force in the sector and the human resources universities are expected to produce. At the ceremony, it was also emphasized that Turkish Airlines’ sharing its decades of experience and know-how with the academic departments of the universities is invaluable for all stakeholders. The ceremony concluded with a mutual understanding that, in addition to Aviation English, these collaborative endeavors should also be carried out within Educational Technologies, Vocational and Organisational Development Trainings.
