The Second Educational Technology Summit, first of which was hosted by Yıldız Technical University, was held on 14th March 2015 in Bahçeşehir University. This event which is regarded as a meeting point of education and technology has brought together important participants from education, business world and media.

Turkish Aviation Academy became the transportation sponsor of this summit which aims at the participation of many institutions from various sectors, on the basis of the fact that education and technology are integrated to many areas. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kemal YUKSEK, The President of Academy, gave a speech about modernization processes and digital systems which he brought to Turkish Airlines especially in the last two years in education area. Assoc. Prof. Dr. YUKSEK mentioned the strategic management perception of Turkish Airlines and the progress having attained thanks to this perception. He also shared information about the necessity of education and assessment systems which are independent of time and space, and new implementations in this area. Besides, YUKSEK mentioned that the Academy undertook the mission of providing training for Turkish Airlines as well as in domestic and abroad, and he suggested that giving the most productive and quality education at high speed is possible by digital lecture system. Afterwards, he stated the projects within Academy in this area. Mr. YUKSEK fielded questions from participants at the end of the session.

To inform the participants about aviation trainings, configurated by expert instructor staff within the body of Academy, the marketing team, has also joined the Summit. Digital trainings and Air Transport Management Master Program services attracted great attention.

At the opening of the Summit, the hologram demonstration also drew great interest. In this demonstration, thanks to the technology of hologram, Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of telephone attended the Summit as the guest of honor and talked with the other speaker. Throughout the Summit, esteemed speakers from our country and world took part in sessions and shed light on the latest technological advancements in education area, as well as they gave tips to participants about future innovative practices. The Summit Management, giving importance to social responsibility projects, set up a booth for the handicapped, and thus ran an aid campaign.
