“IATA AIRLINE SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY” TRAINING SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED AT TURKISH AVIATION ACADEMY6/22/2017



Aviation Academy continues to raise Professional leaders for aviation industry in line with its objective of supporting the development of civil aviation industry.

“IATA Airline Social Media Strategy” Training was delivered at Aviation Academy –Regional and Authorized Training Center of IATA- by expert instructor Raj Gopalkrishna on 19-21 May 2017.

The course was successfully completed with the participation of not only our Corporation but airline staff from Portugal, Poland and Nigeria.

The training was designed for senior managers in commercial departments, suppliers working with airlines including travel agents and IT companies, staff working in marketing, advertisement and revenue management departments. Upon the completion of the training, the participants acquired advanced knowledge on topics such as how to achieve success on social media platforms which nowadays is one of the most effective marketing methods, how this user oriented technology will improve profit, and how they can achieve effective communication strategies that can be implemented on an airline.

During the training, the participants were informed on how social media impacts airlines, how to integrate brand identity and personality into a social marketing strategy, how to identify appropriate tactics in social media marketing with examples and presentations.
