MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
By using all the services offered on this website, you accept that you are subject to the following conditions; by continuing to use and benefit from the services on the website, you acknowledge that you have the right, authority and legal capacity to sign a contract according to the laws you abide to; that you are over the age of 18, and that you have read, understood and are bound by the terms of this contract.
This contract imposes to the parties the rights and obligations related to the contract website; and when the parties accept this contract, they declare that they will fulfill the mentioned rights and obligations in a complete, correct, and timely manner within the conditions required in this contract.

The subject of this agreement is the stipulation of the conditions for the member to benefit from akademi.thy.com website owned by Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy.
3.1 Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy reserves the right to change prices and the offered products and services at all times.
3.2. Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy accepts and undertakes that the member will benefit from the contracted services unless there is a technical failure.
3.3. The member accepts and undertakes to comply with the legal regulations and not to violate them while using the mentioned website. Otherwise, the member agrees in advance that he/she will be responsible for any damages incurred by third parties and all legal and criminal liabilities.
3.4. The member cannot use the website in any way to disrupt public order, to violate public morality, to disturb and harass others, for an illegal purpose, and intellectual and copyright infringements. In addition, the member cannot engage in activities or actions (spams, viruses, trojan horses, etc.) that prevent or inconvenience others in using the services. Otherwise, the member is fully responsible for the loss to be occurred; and in the event of this happening, website authorities reserves the right to suspend and terminate such accounts, and to initiate legal proceedings.
3.5. The relations between the members of the website or with thirds parties are at their own discretion .
3.6. All registered and unregistered intellectual property rights, such as title, company name, trademark, patent, logo, design, information and method on this website, belong to the website operator and Owner Company or an authorized person/company by them, and are under the protection of national and international law. The information contained in this website cannot be reproduced, published, copied, presented or transferred in any way. The whole or a part of the website cannot be used on another website without permission.
4.1. Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy can give personal information provided by the member to the third parties to use it in for advertising and marketing by transforming it into statistical information, to determine the general tendencies of the members, to enrich the content and the service; and can use this information at will. However, it will not share personal information transmitted by users through the website with thirds parties.
4.2. Confidential information may only be disclosed to the official authorities if such information is requested duly by the official authorities and in cases where disclosures are required by the mandatory legislative provisions in force.
5.1. This contract clause shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law. The services provided by the company are on “as is” and “as possible” basis and give no guarantee, express or implied, legal or in another kind, in relation to the services or application (including all information), including any implied warranties of merchantability, conformity to a particular purpose or non- infringement.
6.1. The member must provide accurate, complete and updated registration information. If the member fails to fulfill this requirement partially or completely, there will be a breach of the contract and the account can be closed without the need for any notification.
6.2. The member is responsible for password and account security on the website and third party websites. Otherwise, in the event of any data loss and security breaches or damage to equipment and devices Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy cannot be held accountable.
7.1. Situations that eliminate the opportunity to fulfill the obligations of Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy in accordance with this agreement, beyond the control of Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy and without any negligence, such as war, natural disasters, strike and/or lockout, flood, fire, illness of instructor, accident, etc., will be considered as force majeure. If the obligations arising from the agreement become impossible to be fulfilled by the parties due to force majeure, the parties are not responsible for this. During this period, the rights and obligations of the Parties arising from this Agreement are suspended.
8.1. Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy may change the services provided on the website and the terms of this agreement partially or completely, if necessary. Changes will be effective from the date of publication on the website. It is the responsibility of the Member to follow the changes. The Member is deemed to have accepted these changes by continuing to benefit from the services offered.
8.2. As part of the integrity and applicability of the agreement, if one of these agreement terms becomes partially or completely void, the remainder of the agreement remains valid.
9.1. This agreement will remain in effect until the member cancels his/her membership or until his/her membership is canceled by the Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy. Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy will be able to terminate the agreement unilaterally by cancelling the membership of the member in case the member violates any clause of the membership agreement.
10.1. This agreement is applied and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of Turkish Republic. Bakırköy Courts and Enforcement Offices are exclusively authorized to resolve any disputes arising from or related to any agreement on training and/or services between Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy and the customer.
